FAQ

Got questions? We've got answers!

Q: Can I adopt a cat?

A: Yes! All our cats are owned by Ella's Feline Rescue Mission and you’ll need to complete an application and meet their adoption requirements. The Valley Cat does not determine who gets to adopt which cat.

Q: Where do the cats come from?

A: We partner with Ella's Feline Rescue Mission who provide loving care for the cats until they join us at The Valley Cat. https://ellasfelinerescuemission.com/

Q: Do you take donations?

A: Yes! We gladly accept donations of food and other supplies. You can also make a monetary donation to support our mission.

Q: Does adoption cost anything?

A: Yes, there’s a fee to cover vaccinations the spay/neuter, and other essentials. Each rescue organization has its own fees and all of ithe money goes to them. The Valley Cat does not make any money on the adoption process.

Q: Where do the cats live?

A: They live at the cat lounge, waiting for adoption while enjoying a safe, cozy space.

Q: Can I bring my own cat?

A: We have plenty of cats already! Sorry, only our resident cats are allowed in the lounge.

Q: Is there an age limit for visitors?

A: For the safety and comfort of both our guests and cats, we welcome children aged 8 and older. Visitors between 8 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate children under 8 at this time, as our lounge is designed to provide a calm and stress-free environment for everyone. We appreciate your understanding!

Q: Why do I have to pay to visit the cats?

A: The fees we collect help cover the care and feeding of the cats, ensuring they stay healthy and happy while they wait for their forever homes.

Q: How long can I stay during my visit?

A: Each visit lasts fifty-five minues, giving you plenty of time to relax, enjoy the company of our cats, and soak in the cozy atmosphere.

Q: Can I host a private event at The Valley Cat?

A: Yes, we offer private bookings for special events like birthdays, small gatherings, or team-building activities. Contact us for availability and pricing.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation to visit?

A: We can only accommodate 10 guests at a time, so while walk-ins are welcome, we highly recommend making a reservation to ensure your spot. Without a reservation, we can’t guarantee there will be space, especially during busy times like weekends. You can easily book your visit online through our website.

Q: What do you have to eat or drink at The Valley Cat?

A: We serve a selection of pre-packaged food and drinks, including unique local beverages and snacks. You're also welcome to bring your own food, but please be mindful and avoid feeding the cats.
